Sedat Yılmaz

Sedat Yılmaz graduated from the Faculty of Law at Istanbul University in 2013 and was admitted to the Istanbul Bar Association in 2015. He joined the team at Akalın Law in 2019 and has been practising as a lawyer since then.

Experienced in real estate and tenancy law, contract law, commercial law, and alternative dispute resolution, Mr Yılmaz provides professional counsel to both domestic and foreign clients in these fields. He plays an active role in dispute resolution processes and represents clients before relevant institutions and courts. Mr Yılmaz has extensive experience in overseeing residential and commercial construction projects for prominent Turkish construction companies, as well as real estate development, shopping centre management and leasing. He is also highly proficient in drafting and managing commercial contracts for both domestic and international clients.

Furthermore, he possesses proficiency in handling consumer disagreements that stem from dealership relationships, tax law and enforcement, and bankruptcy law. He extends his professional services to clients by providing consultancy and advocacy.
